ContPort Lines has a management team consisting of six professionals with broad experience in shipping and finance. The management team is governed by the board of directors consisting of four members. The board members represent a combination of expertise, capabilities, and experience from various finance, industry, and non-governmental organizations.
Capt. Aditya Shah, Founder & Chairman
Captain Aditya is the Founder and Chairman of ContPort Lines.
Born in India, Mr. Shah has started his career as a captain of operating passenger ferries in the Middle East for his family’s business after graduating Capt. Shah has took a break from the ferry business and was willing to come into the world of maritime transport to work as a service provider for the cargo transportation.Starting out with a single general cargo vessel, the MV Marmara Mr. Shah has developed and led the company with true entrepreneurial spirit for over two (2) decades. In the early days of ContPort Lines, Mr. Shah was of the opinion to make a bridge between Middle East to the rest of world.
This vision brought exponential growth in terms of both volume and fleet capacity which now serve customers all over the world. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Shah has led CP Lines from a one vessel operation to become one of the large cargo transportation service provider of the world.
Michael Lee, Managing Director
Mr. Michael Lee is the Managing Director of ContPort Lines.
Mr. Lee was raised sharing his family’s passion for the Sea/Shipping. After school he took his first steps towards his ultimate career by furthering his education and becoming a post graduate of Maritime Studies with a particular focus on shipping.
In 1998 joined a shipping company, training on-board vessels as a junior engineer to gain first-hand technical experience. To increase his breadth of maritime knowledge Mr. Lee also worked in Ship Management company, gaining valuable experience of ship’s operations.
Upon joining ContPort Lines Headquarters, Mr. Lee has worked in all departments including Far East and USA trades, immersing himself in the day-to-day challenges and successes of the business. Mr. Lee has identified many areas and sectors where the company is making its profit in today’s challenging market. Few are already in place and few yet to arrive into operation.
Mrs. Dina Munir, CFO
Mrs. Dina Munir is the CFO of ContPort Lines.
Mrs. D. Munir is the Managing Partner of Finance as she previously worked as CFO of listed company from November 1998 to February 2001. Prior to she was also employed in a Bank (Shipping Offshore and Oil Services) for 5 years, and her last position was as a Finance Manager of a financial company in Singapore.
